Dear Liz Lama: My previous note says that I found a Bernard Walker in the June 1941 yearbook. I am only occasionally at the school. I will look through the 1941 yearbook for information and any photo the next time there...which may not be for several weeks.

THank you PELLISSON....after more research, I was able to find out my biological father’s legal first name was BERNARD and not Gilbert. He was known as Gilbert for most of his life and may have had his name legally changed. Have not found those records yet.You say you found Bernard Walker graduated in Jan42 so would he be in any of the yearbooks? I would just love to see a photo of him. Liz Lama, Tampa FL

Dear Lizlama,I have looked through the graduation programs from 1938 to 1943 and find no listing for Gilbert Walker. That does not mean he did not attend DWC, it only means that he didn’t graduate on those occasions. Below I will list all the people with the last name Walker who graduated between the above years. Perhaps you father used a different first name in high school.Sorry I could not be of more help.Sincerely,Alumni Association HistorianJune 1940-Andrew Walker, Louis J. Walker; June 1941-Bernard Walker; January 1942-Alexander Walker; June 1942-Edward Walker, Albert Walker; January 1943-Marvin Walker, Ronald Walker

Yesterday, Dec 16th would have been my dad’s 89th birthday.  He passed away at the young age of 38 yrs so I do not know too much about him.
Recently was told he graduated from Clinton but year unknown.  I did find a 1941 yearbook and did not see him listed.
Anyone have access to a 1940 or 1939 year book to see if
GILBERT WALKER is listed?

Many fond memories as Italian Club president 1960-63 with Miss Olga Razzari, Italian teacher. What a great school during a troubled period of American history.

I was curious if the alumni assoication has ever had an open house at clinton for the alumni to come and recall their time at clinton?

This is for the chaps that attended during 1974-1978 or there abouts...LOL The great times we had before school started in the lunch room playing spades and having breakfast at the same time.Or after school playing softball, football the works. I remember the Arista Club, Playing lots of Table Tennis and on the Swimming and Diving team. Such great times and teachings from DWC. They really prepared me will.
